To reset the airbag system on a Seat Ibiza, start by disconnecting the car battery to ensure safety. Wait for about 10-15 minutes to allow any residual power to dissipate. Then, reconnect the battery and turn the ignition on without starting the engine; the airbag warning light should turn off if the issue is resolved. If the light remains illuminated, it may indicate a persistent fault that requires professional diagnosis.

Removing an airbag from a Seat Leon can be complex and is generally not recommended for those without automotive experience. It involves disconnecting the battery, accessing the airbag unit, and handling sensitive components, which can be dangerous if not done correctly. Additionally, improper removal can trigger warning lights or affect the vehicle's safety systems. For safety reasons, it's best to have a qualified technician perform this task.
