You can reset the ecm with a scan tool or by unhooking the battery.
Use an obdII scan tool, or you can just remove the ecm fuse or disconnect the battery.
Just unhook the battery cables for 5 mins, That will reset the ECM
To reset the ECM remove the battery cable (s) for a few minutes. Replace cable. ECM has been reset.

First push OFF and WARM to retrieve codes, then push OFF and HI to clear codes ( Repairs must be completed or codes will return )

Disconnect the battery for five to 20 minutes. This will reset the ECM.
The ECM is located inside the vehicle. It is on the passenger side above the heater box.
Unplug you battery for 20 to 25 minutes that should reset you computer.
