Alfa Romeos often have the inertia fuel shut-off under the left-hand seat on UK models: being right-hand-drive, this is the front passenger seat. Usually the switch will have a button which pops up on impact to break the circuit. Resetting the switch is usually just a case of pressing the button down again. However I am not 100% sure this is the arrangement on the 147 but have a look under the seat anyway. Good luck from Norn Iron!
