On the steering wheel you have the button for the driver information center (info button) . Press that button until you come to "oil life %" and AT THE SAME TIME, hold down the info button & the little arrow button & the next message should be "oil life reset". When you see this message, release the both buttons and press the "arrow" button for one second. You should get a "ACKNOWLEDGED" message. If not it did not reset and you have to do it again.
If you have problems getting the oil life system to reset with the previous way mentioned then try turning the key to ON and press the gas pedal three times.
GM doesn't give you the step to hold both buttons down
at the same time to get the OIL LIFE RESET message. They give you step 1 - to go to the oil life reset, then they say hit enter. They failed to include the following instruction
1a. hold down the info buttom and the enter button at the same time....
until you see OIL LIFE RESET
(then continue to step 2 in your manual)
The DIC will confirm you have reset after doing step 2

You have to reset the oil life in the computer to get it to go out.
Turn the ignition key to the on position (don't start ) and then depress the gas pedal 3 times within 5 seconds.
You can reset this using your stereo/info center. The real trick here is that you MUST BE GOING UNDER 5MPH, so i suggest just parking. Scroll to the oil life reset option using the menu button, the press and hold the enter button to reset it.

after changing your oil, press the TRIP function by the steering wheel until oil life is displayed. It should be at 0%. Then hold the RESET button for a few seconds and it will clear it and put your oil life at 99%.
It may not have one. Some GM transmissions are sealed for life.
The cam will normally last the life of the engine, if the engine is serviced regularly.
Turn key to ON position and then pump the gas pedal and it will reset oil life meter.
Turn on the key but don't start the van. Push the accelerator to the floor and release 3 times. It will now reset.
push in the info button on the dash a series of times until fuel life comes up and it will say reset fuel life then hold the button until it says reset it will then display fuel life 100 persent
