There should be a fuse box located in the engine compartment on the driver side. Open the cover and you should see a button to press. Press and hold that button for a few seconds (I think it is around 15). That will reset the oil sensor light on the dash board.
It does not have a reset. If the oil light is on, the sensor has failed or the oil pressure is too low.It does not have a reset. If the oil light is on, the sensor has failed or the oil pressure is too low.
put oil in it,there is no reset if the oil is not low the sensor in the pan or wiring to sensor has a problem
A Neon does not have a shutdown related to the oil sensor.
There is no change oil light on a 98 sentra. The light you are seeing is a low oil pressure light. check your oil if its good then the oil pressure sensor is bad.
The stock oil pressure sensor on a 97 Saturn can be replaced with an oil pressure gauge for poundage info by first unscrewing the existing sensor. The new sensor can then be screwed into place and wiring ran to a suitable pressure gauge.
The orange engine light means that your Saturn LS300 has a sensor that is signaling for a service. This could be an oxygen sensor, an oil sensor, or even a tire sensor.
99 percent sure there is NO oil reset procedure for the '97 sc models. If your oil light is on it is bc you are LOW on oil. Add oil immediately

When you see the Change Oil light on, push and hold the button just like you would to reset the trip counter
I do not know specifically for your vehicle, however I had the same thing on my 1998 Olds Intrigue. The mechanic turned the key to the on position, then pressed down on the accelerator three times. That reset my sensor.
