To reset the radio code in a 98 Honda CR-V, one will need to remove the radio and get the serial number off the radio. Inside the glove box, one can find a small white sticker that has the code in it.
The code needed to reset the radio is the model number on top of the radio. The you must call a Honda dealer to get the code. If you are the original owenr or have the owners manual, the code may be in the written in the manual. i need to know how to enter the code on the radio the radio reads ERR 3

Go to your local Honda dealer and buy a new manual. They aren't that expensive. REALLY!!! how to introduice radio code in a crv auto radio?
If the manual is missing getting the code for a 2008 Honda Cr-v radio require making a trip to the dealership. The techs at an authorized Honda dealership will program the radio.
you can take it out of the dash or disconnect the battery and reconnect it, however when you restart the radio it will ask for a code which is most probably in your owners manual. please be sure you check you have this pin before carrying out these methods. you could probably ask a Honda dealer for a slightly safer method and if you don't have a code you should contact your local Honda dealer
Tune the radio to channel 0. The XM code will appear there.

You reset it with an OBD2 scan tool.
There should be a small sticker on the inside of the glove box with a 5 digit code on it. Enter this using the radio station keys. It should clear the "code" message and make the radio work.
Try referring to your owner's manual! you also have the second option of contacting the customer service department at Honda Check the link below: Just press radio number #1 and 6 at the same time and the radio code will appear.
The on-board computer is factory installed and cannot be 'reset' - it must be replaced.
