how do i restore my computer back to an earlier date of time. it has spyware right now and i want to do a system restore. My system restore only allows me to system restore 2 months. I want to restore 3 months or more. I don't think spyware is the problem/ Thank you.
Vista has backup and restore just like XP. Open start menu and type backup and restore center.

It just restores your computer to how it was at an earlier time so any changes or new programs that occurred after the restore point will be undone. However, new files will still be on your system.

You can turn off system restore. That will delete ALL of your restore points, then turn it back on to start making new ones...but keep in mind that if you do this, you won't be able to restore to earlier than the newest restore point (today in that case).
If you backup your iPod or sync it to your PC, then you can restore it and it will use the data you synced earlier to restore on your ipod. In other words, nothing, as long as you back it up or sync it.
