Just copy and then paste the cavedog folder from another computer with an earlier version of windows that had core contingency and preferably the 3.1 patch installed onto it... to c: drive on the computer that has vista or windows 7. I still had a glitch here and there with the sound and video during gameplay if that happens hit F2 choose options visuals and then restore defaults and that will reset it and you can continue gameplay till the next glitch.
