hmmm...this is a difficult one. One should not give 'live ' gifts to any one before asking anyway. alternative 1 - return it to the person who gave it to you giving the HONEST reason why you can't keep it. It would be better for the animal and you that it be returned where it came from. alternative 2 - find an animal shelter near you alternative 3 - think of someone who may want the animal (I assume it is a cat or a dog...) In the meantime - take care of it the best you can! Good Luck
