Click [Edit] (next to Store and Collect) and then select the fence you want to turn. You'll see the 2 symbols, one for moving the object into inventory and one to rotate (turn) the object. You also need free space to do that in case of larger objects.

∙ 13y agoIt depends on which pointer you are using. If you are using your multi-tool, then you click on the fence and a menu appears that lists rotate as one of the options along with move and sell. I fyou are using the new hand=shaped move tool, then you click the space bar to rotate fences and buildings and animals.

∙ 13y agoNot everything on Farmville can be rotated. When you click on a certain item, like a fence, "Rotate" will be one of the options on the menu list for that fence. Click that, and the fence will rotate.

You can rotate animals and some other equipment but not trees and buildings by clicking on them and select rotate.

How do you buy a fence in FarmVille?
Go to the Market area and click on the Decorations tab. You can buy different fences there is different colors (based on your level).
Can you rotate items on farmville that cannot rotate?
UPDATE: Yes. Click on them, and there is now a ROTATE option. You can also click on them to make them walk around, or to STAY (if they are already walking around).
