How do you rotate your buildings on Age of Empires 3?

in the first age of empires to rotate them you go to custom map and click on caracters set one down then look for the box in the bottom left hand corner and click on rotate give me trust points Fishrus

You can't. That ability becomes available in Age of Mythology.

In order to rotate a gate in Age of Empires II, click the corner of the gate and drag your mouse in the direction you want the gate to move. This can be tricky when building on a slope.
