If you can't figure that out have you subs installed by someone who knows what their doing.
When lead/ acid batteries are charged, they can give off hydrogen gas.
Battery will be flat because spark plugs were running straight off your battery because the alternator was not charging your battery as you were driving. You can test this by jump starting your car with another car and after your car is running you should be able to disconnect your battery and car should still run off the alternator. If your car stops than your alternator is RS. Battery will be flat because spark plugs were running straight off your battery because the alternator was not charging your battery as you were driving. charge the battery or jump it off another car
Positive lead
Car is off, meaning, the engine is turned off. If it's not a hybrid, then it can in two ways 1 From another car... hook up the lines + and - 2 From a charging station, usually they plug in a wall socket, 110v/220v to 12v, and in a couple of hours, PRESTO, your battery is charged.
If the outlet is powered with the key off, then yes it will slowly drain the battery.
No
you possibly have something draining the battery when the car is shut off, with the car shut off pull the positive cable off the battery and then just touch the cable to the positive post of the battery and see if you get a spark, if you get a spark you have something electrical draining the battery.
if you can start car pull off the neg battery cable if car stalls its the altinater if it stays running it might be the battery
The rear lights of your car will still on even if your car was off because the switch was turned on and it will still remain on until the battery's out. Another possibility, if the headlight switch is off and the ignition switch is off, the brake light switch may be out of adjustment or broken and what you're seeing is the brake lights on.
Try taking the power lead from you radio and run a wire directly to your battery. This will bypass anything that will cause noise on your radio. Just remember to turn it off when you get out of the car!
By your description it seems like you have a faulty alternator.
