Do you mean you are an overpronator? if you overpronate you generally have weak flexible arches resulting in a collapsing of the arch with added pressure aka: flat feet. Usually around 75% of runners i see, i work at a running store, have "flat feet", myself included. All it means is that you will get support or motion control shoes. Now, the shoes depend upon if you are a moderate or sever pronator and if you are running high mileage or have injuries. You can easily tell its a support shoe if it has a gray block on the cushioning of the arch. Some good shoes for people with flat feet running moderate mileage would be the brooks adrenaline, saucony omni, or the Asics 2140s ( i think there at?). All in all the motion control shoes will correct the follow through of your knees so that instead of your arch collapsing as much that gray cushioning which is harder cushioning will prevent it an your knee will roll easily, and correctly, directing over the top of your foot instead of the inside.

Other than that, you do the normal thing, you run :)
