The express edition's C++ implementation is no different to the visual studio implementation. It is the exact same language.
With the express edition you can't get every single PC Programming language in one program, you have to download multiple. For example, if I want to program in C++ and Visual Basic, I have to install two programs... with the full version I only have to install one. Also in the full version, there are a few more features in the toolbox. Get the Express, the full edition is NOT worth 2,000 dollars
The language you need to know is called "visual Basic" (what a surprise!) and there is a tutorial actually on visual basic 2008 express edition
No. Visual C++ Express is free, but Visual Studio C++ must be bought. The Express edition is a subset of the Studio release.
Microsoft Visual Web Developer focuses on the tools required to develop Web applications and is fully incorporated into Microsoft Visual Studio itself. Microsoft Visual Web Developer Express edition is a separate product that makes use of the same integrated development environment as Microsoft Visual Studio itself, but has a more limited set of language features.
