It saves automatically unless you use another user account on your computer. Don't worry though, it'll still be there on the account you started the game on when you log back onto that account.

EDIT: You don't. Without some kind of third-party homebrew application, one cannot save the copyprotected game file for Super Smash Bros Brawl to an SD card.
You can't- It autosaves for you. You can in subspaceemissary but everyone knows that.
I'm pretty sure it saves automatically but if you're in adventure mode you save between stages.
You have to beat a castle in order to save, I think that you can save anytime once you beat the game.
