It depends on what the betta is sick with. Search for the symptoms your fish is showing. Is there fungus growing on it? Is it bloated? Is it laying on its side? Also, be aware of the parameters in your tank. Check for ammonia (there shouldn't be ANY ammonia) and nitrites (there shouldn't be any nitrites, either!). While you try to figure out what is wrong, change some of the water in the tank - especially if you are keeping your betta in a bowl. Change 25-50% at a time, so that the water doesn't change too suddenly. Good luck!

Just go to the vet for a check up.
No, you can't get sick because fish disease can not transfer to a human. Therefore just wash your hands properly after handling a fish or touching one.

To save your dying betta fish, you can start by ensuring the water in its tank is clean and at the right temperature. You should also check for any signs of illness and treat accordingly. Additionally, make sure your betta fish is getting proper nutrition and consider consulting a veterinarian for further advice.
