In new super Mario bros. Wii to save it you have to exit the level your on and when it shows the level map you click + and where it says quick save you click it and the game is saved.
Yes, you can and here is how. First, look at the bottom left of your screen and press the Windows icon. Then, type in "Notepad" in the Search Bar. Afterwords, open up Super Mario Flash and make your stage. Then, save the stage by clicking the "CODE" button, and select it all. Then, copy/paste it on a notepad. Finally, go to file on the notepad in the Top right corner and say save. Then when you want to play your stage just open Notepad and copy/paste in on the load bar in Super Mario Flash. Now I don't need to tell you the rest.
Like most NES games, there is no way to save your progress in Super Mario Bros.
