Français, or lowercase frança

is. (the cedilla C is a French letter, and you can use C)

Again (and before I am removed) the capital letter in French depends if the word French is a noun or an adjective:
a Frenchman: un Français (with a capital letter, this is a person)
a French book: un livre français (no capital letter, French is an adjective.

Likewise, a Frenchwoman is une França

ise.

We also say le français when we speak about the French language, for example, le français de Belgique or le français correct, this is a noun and no capital letter, so not only a noun, but capital F just for people!
