"Gloria Patris, et Filio, et Spiritui Sancto."
That's wrong. Gloria Patris would mean Glory of the Father, not to the Father. The expression you want is Gloria Patri, et Filio, et Spiritui Sancto.
The closest phrase I could find is Dominus vobiscum - which translates as the Lord be with you.
"Gloria in Excelsis Deo" is "Glory to God in the Highest" in Latin. Hope this helps!
It is said: solo deo gloria.
Glory Thy Name was created on 2004-11-26.
Exodus 33:18 King James Version says it is Moses that said this to God on Mount Sinai "And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory." before he saw the burning bush.
Jesus Christ was and is God from all eternity, but He certainly laid aside His full glory and power while on earth. When He returned to heaven He returned to His full former glory.5And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. 7And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. 8But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. 9Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. 10And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:

First take the verse into context and decide what the author was talking about. It could mean that we are destend to be gold but we (God and you and i) have to work hard to "burn" away the dross. God bless you.
Ecclesiastes 5:2 "Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few." To genuinely practice "one nation under God" means to elevate God's words above man's.

God. Exodus 20 1.And God spake all these words, saying, 2.I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
To ask the question "Why is there only 1 God?" is the same as asking the question "Why is there only 1 creator?" When the Holy Bible speaks of the one and only true living God, it is talking about the creator of everything. Everything that was created was created by one creator (God). "Thy art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created." (Revelation 4:11).
Theo discovered that the verse "May God thy gold refine" came from the hymn "God of our Fathers" during a church service where the hymn was being sung. He was struck by the meaning of the words and later reflected on them during a moment of introspection.
