nah-vuh-ho spelling comes from spanish ,and from pueblo indian, and this name means .. planted feilds and farm land. now isn't that pretty.. and also they call them selves ... the people which means dines and dine. and what a wonderful name, because they looked at themselves as we are the people of this land and that they were ... planted as a seed ,there by their past families and they began to grow like plants, and soon there were more seeds planted into the scared grounds of the mother earth from the great holy spirit, and then, there came great rain, that watered the seeds and there became light , that shined over the untire land that was very scared, and he said i give yo my many colors of my rain bow, and as he did, they saw many colors the indians, all pretty. and they learned from the animals how to live and hunt, and they lived by the growth on the land, pure and wonderful, they didnt need money, like we have today, they did not worry, they knew when, they trust in the mother earth, she would provide many foods to eat for her children, and there the earth was fresh full of great foods to last all winter and threw the storms, they knew how to build their homes, because they saw how the rabbits and other animals lived and they became very smart, which means very wise. and because of this, they knew many things the white man did not know, because they lived from the earth and they loved mother earth as they took good care of her, they went by their fathers in how they were taught. they passed down the scared word to their children, children, not to get lost and to get off the wrong path,. they never left their families, they all took care of each other and they new just how to live right,. so this is alittle more , that i wrote, but this is what the word navajo means to me, , its the word ,.. love.. wonderful families, wonderful people, caring, sharing,. and they are loving and lived by the scared law .of the great holy spirit, they took care of the land that, was provided for them.and this is what navajo means to me. scared people.
