bon appetit
Bon appetit!
We just say Bon Appetit or Enjoy your meal...
"Bon appetit" means literally "Have a good appetite", otherwise translated from the French to "Enjoy your meal" or very simply "Enjoy!".Bon appetit is used at the beginning of the meal. In good company, the meal should start when everybody is at the table. To let the participants know that no one else is expected, and it is fine to eat, the hostess will usually say "bon appetit", everyone else can say thank you, or repeat "bon appetit", and start eating.
Bon Appetit - 2013 I was released on: USA: 30 December 2013
Here is my latest culinary presentation; bon appetit everyone, enjoy your meal.
In italy you should say 'Bon Appetit' (Enjoy Your Meal)
bon ap - pe- teet
Bon appetit ma cherie. Je t'aime beaucoup is what you were trying to say. It means : Enjoy your food my darling. I love you very much.
Bon means good, appetit means, well, appetite. So Bon Appetit means Good Appetite.
APPETIT with an accent rightwards (accent de grave) on the E of the word appetit is a french word while APPETITE as we all know is an English word. But while saying BON APPETIT, we should not use an e after the word appetit and while writing the same, an accent must always be there.... :)
