At first glance this should be an easy question, but without any context, it is a little harder. In English, we use the word "do" without any real context - it just floats. Example: "Do you like sports?" reply - "Yes I do". This really has no counterpart in Spanish. The exchange in Spanish would be more like "¿Te gusta deportes?" - answer - "Sí". If you went with a literal word replacement, it would be "Sí, hago", but this would not make sense, and the response would be "Sí haces ¿qué?" or "you do...what?"
This floating "do" can be very confusing to a Spanish speaker, because we use it to form many questions. "Do you", "does it", and the like really don´t translate directly, and you must use an "equivalent" translation to get the meaning across.
