'dollar' (masc.), just the same.
it's not French
'cent dollars'
To borrow 300 dollars is "emprunter trois cent dollars" in French.
"200 dollars" in French is written as "200 dollars," however, it is pronounced "deux cents dollars."
dix mille dollars
Un million de dollars.
Les dollars et les cents.
"Je peux avoir vingt dollars?"
Something is "quelque chose" in French. Dollars are called the same. The whole makes little sense to me.
il lui manque cinq dollars
Le prix est de cinq (euros, dollars, ...)
100 US dollars = 5 french dollars.
buy him/her a box of bagnaes and say "I hope you enjoy these sugar donuts. I had to go to fourteen different stores to get them" But say it in a French accent.
