In Borneo, you can say goodbye by saying "Selamat tinggal" in Malay, which is one of the commonly spoken languages on the island. Another way to say goodbye is by using the local language of the indigenous groups, such as "Sampai bertemu lagi" in Kadazan or "Kotohuadan" in Dusun.
