Lakota has no direct translation for "harassing", but there are a number of different terms depending on who or what is being harassed and in what way.
The complex verb thehiya khuwa means to oppress somebody, to treat somebody badly or terribly, to harass somebody, to abuse somebody or give them a hard time.
