You'd generally use "var" at the end of the sentence. You'd also put the person or thing in the possessive form.

Like, "I have 1 book" would be "Benim bir kitabım var." (Notice how "benim" and "kitabım" both indicate possessive form.)

"Ali has one sibling" would be "Ali'nin bir kardeşi var."

"Var" can also mean "there is" or "there are"
