The most common ways to say "I'm sorry" in Korean are:

  • 죄송합니다 (joesonghamnida)* - formal
  • 미안합니다 (mianhamnida) - polite
  • 미안해 (mianhae) - casual but somewhat polite
  • 미안 (mian) - can be casual

it's my fault-내 잘못이야(na-jar-mot-i-ya)

sorry-미안해 (mi-an-hae) or 미안해요(mi-an-hae-yo) 죄송해요(jueh-song-hae-yo)

if they are freind or your don't have no time to say all of it, just say 미안! (mi-an) or 죄송 (jua-song)

Miahneyo 미안 해요 (formal)

Miahnhae 미안해 (informal) , Miahn 미안(super informal - like talking to close friend and if it's one of those "casual" apologize)

Jeongmal Miahnada 정말 미안하다 (Really sorry - formal)

there's also:

Chesonghamida 죄송합니다 (also used for excuse me sometimes)

or chesonghaeyo 죄송 해요
