In American Sign Language (ASL), "do you like" can be signed by combining the signs for "you" and "like" in one fluid motion. Start by pointing at the person you are asking, then form an open hand with palm facing up with fingers together, and bring it towards your chest in a circular, twisting motion to indicate "like."

For the word "like", it depends on the way you use it. There are three different signs for the word "like".

If you are say that you are pleased with something (like to watch TV). The sign is: Beginning with the bent thumb and middle finger of the right 5 hand touching the chest, palm facing in, bring the hand forward while closing the fingers to form an 8 hand.

Or you can sign that same meaning by: Bringing the back of the right S hand, palm facing forward, back to the lips then forward again.

If you are trying to say resembling; similar to (looks like his father): Move the right Y hand, palm facing forward, from side to side with a double movement in front of the right side of the body.
