The Chinese word for violin is "Xiǎotíqín".
i wouldn't say it's "worse," because price wise it's cheaper than European one. BUT! if you're looking for a violin to last long and sound good (and possibly sell it), i'd go with the European one. you can tell the difference when you play it. when i was looking for a violin, this German violin (which i now have) sounded much better than the Chinese one.
