Im pretty sure it's North Korea.
as a tourist, both countries are pretty safe except you have to be careful of what you say in North Korea, if you say something that scrutinizes the N. Koreans or the Government there, i believe that you can be taken away by soldiers. even though north korea has a lot to offer, i would suggest South Korea just for convenience.
The government of North Korea is mostly closed to the outside world. This makes for a pretty stagnant economy. The government of South Korea is more open, and has a more vibrant economy.
North Korea is 朝鮮 (chao2xian3).South Korea is 韓國 (han2guo2).
South Korea is enemies with North Korea mainly. South Korea is democratic just like the U.S and Canada. However, south Korea has a batpoop insane northern neighbour... North Korea. I know that China is communist as well but I do not think that they would help north Korea in a war now-a-days *( I say now-a-days because China did help North Korea back in the Korean War which you should look up to better help your understanding.) So pretty much South Korea is normal and has ties with many democratic countries. Japan's the worst enemy of Korea. Koreans hate Japan.
nothing, just that north Korea, and south Korea, were separted, so the north Koreans, can't watch our tv. or south Korea tv. they die in streets, poor people but south Korea they are pretty rich.
Its 1950, June 25th at dawn.
South Korea = 韓国 = kankoku North Korea = 北朝鮮 = kitachousen
The Korean spoken in North and South Korean is pretty much the same, but the Korean spoken in North Korea has several differences. The basic Korean word for friend is 친구. In North Korea, people sometimes call their friends "comrade," which is 동무 or 동지.
No. Definitely not. It was North Korea who invaded South Korea on June 25, 1950. Unfortunately, North Korean Propaganda continues to put forward the ridiculous message that they were attacked by South Korea and tortures and/or kills those in its borders who say otherwise.
No. There are still social and political issues between north Korea and south Korea(and pretty much the rest of the world too)
Well lately there have been threats from north korea, a disturbance with missiles, and the death of Kim Jung Ill (NK's leader) and lets just say, the north doesn't like the south...
