There does not seem to be an official widespread word for Root Beer in Spanish.
However, in and around the United States and most of Mexico most people will certainly understand you with the direct translation, "Cerveza De Raiz".
Others I hear use a variation of "root beer" with a Latin pronunciation "Ru Bir".
Many dictionaries and translation services use "cerveza no alcohólica" but that is a poor translation since there are many non-alcoholic beers on the market that taste nothing like root beer.
