In twilight princess it is not actually a glitch, in fact at times it is a requriment. When you equip your arrows roll over the bombs in the inventory. A flashing message will appear and all you have to do is press R. This also works to combine the arrows and the hawk mask together.

ok. u go to the main part of ordon village. when you get there, there should be a lake. when u get to the lake u climb up the thing with vines on it and go to the last one. on the rock way down at the end u will see a monkey holding a cradle. what u do is u get one of the hawk calling thingamabobers call the hawk, point it at da cradle, and set the hawk off at the cradle to pick it up. it will bring it back to u. when u get it give it to the pregnant lady. the, well.... do whatever.

Climb the vines to the top of the (platform?) where Jaggle is standing. (Right by the pumpkin patch) Jump across the other platform/rocks until you come to one with grass that almost looks like a bird's wing. Pick it, then blow it to call a hawk which you can then aim at the monkey, and send it after the basket. It will retrieve it for you.
