The PLAN test prepares you for the ACT and the score tells you about how well you will do on the actual ACT
SAT and ACT score minimums depend upon High School GPA. Test score averages for incoming students are 1200 SAT, and 24 ACT.
GPAs and ACT scores are not equivalent--students with high GPAs often do poorly on the ACT and vice-versa. Your score depends on your test-taking ability and your preparedness--the ACT is a very different type of test from the ones you normally see in school.

test score of 21 what collage?
Can you get into Central Missouri State with a 2.9 high school GPA and a 17 ACT score?
A 21 is the national average score for the ACT. A 500 is the average score for the SAT.A 19 would probably be about equivalent to a 480 on each section of the SAT. As a educational consultant, I sometimes suggest that a student decide which test is best of him or her and then concentrate on that one test. Colleges will accept either the ACT or SAT. As a test prep specialist, I know that you can improve your score by contacting the ACT and trying to get a copy of your test and answers. This will help you know where you made mistakes on the last test you took.www.collegedirection.org
