The new Pokemon game is Pokemon Platinum. Other than that, I don't know.There is also Pokemon heartgold and soulsilver that comes out in 2010. In these games you are in the Johto region and you get to have the starters Totodile, chikorita, and cyndaquil. You also have a chance to trade them onto your Pokemon pearl, diamond, and platinum games to get them on your pokedex.
