As birthdays are treated as events in the current platform of Facebook it's a little bit problematic to view past events, as they automatically deleted.
however, there is still 2 options available in order to view past events.
ONE WAY: is to download the Facebook Calender and sync it into Outlook mail application, and than view it normally tthrough the calender view mode.
2ND WAY: logic.
unlike unique events, birthdays are repeated events which come every year. therefore, simply go to the exact date to come on the next year, via the Facebook and choose "see all events" option.
*please notice, that you can only browse into future events, and it may take some time to bypass 364 days forwards :-)
