There are lots of ways of copying a cell in Excel. First, make sure the cell or cells have been selected. Then any of the following key combinations can work for copying.
Ctrl - C
Alt - E - C
Depending on where you are copying to, there are other options, like filling down using Ctrl - D or filling right using Ctrl - R. Ctrl - ' will copy from the cell above. The shortcut key and copy from the menu is another, as is clicking the Copy icon.
Once you've done a copy in any of these or other ways, like various ways with the mouse, there are also lots of ways to Paste, corresponding to the way you copy. Some of these include:
Ctr - V
Alt - E - P
Shift - Insert
Using the Paste icon or option from the shortcut menu.
The simplest way to select a cell is to click on it.
Clicking a cell will select it. You can select more by dragging out over them.

Ctrl-Home will bring you to cell A1 in a worksheet in Excel.
If you select one cell, it will be active. However, if you select multiple cells at once, only one can be the active cell. That is usually the cell you select first.
Right-click on the cell and select Insert Comments, then enter your comment.
Select the Cell and press Control + 1 or find format cell. Select the option under the "Number" tab "Text"
That depends on the version of Excel. Up to Excel 2003 it would be A1:IV65536. From Excel 2007 onwards it would be A1:XFD1048576.
In Excel, to enter data in a cell, you must first select the desired cell by clicking on it. Once the cell is selected, you can start typing the data directly, and it will appear in both the cell and the formula bar. After entering the data, you can press Enter to confirm the input and move to the next cell.
Right click on the cell, select format cells, select currency and $.
Usually with the keyboard. Just select the cell where you want the formula and type in what you want.
Select cell A2. Then, on the menu bar, select Window, Freeze Panes.
