You can sell any house that is not your marital home.. in order to sell that, you have to make your husband follow you as you interact with a different home and set a different one to your marital home, then you can sell the old one. But for all other houses you own, just hit A at the door sign and select "sell" .

∙ 14y agoUse the follow expression on you family and then lead them to the house you wish to purchase. Your old house you moved out on you can either sell or rent out, by going back to it (without you family following) and check the property.

∙ 14y agoTo move your family into a new house, you must get your spouse to follow you using the Follow expression. Go to a house that you own and want to move into, and go to the scroll next to the house. Hit A to Use the scroll and scroll down to the option "Set as Marital Home". If it is a new house that you haven't bought yet, then the only difference is that the scroll will say "Examine Property" instead of "Use" and the option is "Buy and Move In With Spouse".
Please note that your spouse doesn't have to approve of the house before you move in, but it is better that they do, so that way you can keep them happier and you won't have to come and visit them as often to keep them happy. Otherwise, you may find yourself being divorced! You will know if your spouse approves or disapproves of the house if you pause by the house as you arrive and listen to what he or she has to say of the house.

The expansion packs work with the game. It is not a separate game. So if you need to know how to move your family out of a house then it will work the same way as with any other expansion pack. What you do is you go to neighborhood mode and click on the family button. Click on the tool that has the icon of a family and an arrow. Then the mouse turns into that icon and you click on the house that you want the family to move out of. Confirm that you want to move the entire family out of the house into the family bin. Then you can move the family into a different house. As far as I know you cannot move a family out of a neighborhood. If you want to move just one sim out of the house you have to click on the newspaper, or phone, or computer and choose the option find own place. Then you'll get the option to move out any other sims with you, but you cannot move out the whole family like that. Happy simming!
