To start a chat with someone on facebook, you......
1. in the lower right hand corner there is a chat box with a number (number= how many of your friends are online)
2. click on that tab and click on the friend you would like to contact
3. By clicking on their name a icon should pop up allowing you to send them a message.
4. After you type your message, click ENTER on your keyboard and the message should send.
