To send mail simply go to the nearest postal box right click, type in your friends name, and a message. then click send. it costs 30c to send a basic letter or if you just want to send money. you can also send other things like gear and food and what not, but that will cost ya more.
In most cities and outposts there are mailboxes. Rightclick one to open the mail form. Enter the name of the person you wish to mail in the "name" field, and write a message. Click send to send the message.
You can also attach gold, items, or ask for COD (Cash on Delivery). The latter means you attach an item with a gold cost, and if the recipient wants it, and takes the item, you are sent back the gold automatically.
