I will my answer my own Question... just wrenched it out...
On the passengers side you will find two bolts holding the right side of the axleshaft/transmission housing. The book doesnt say anything about these but trust me they're there. also it crossed my mind but under no circumstances should you try to take the transmission apart in pieces you will lose quite a few little parts if you try this i have been told by a local transmission shop. It might work on other vehicles but don't try it in this tranny! Also there are only three flywheel bolts not four... save yourself the hassle i rotated the flywheel and offcentered it thinking there was a fourth. Hope this helps the next poor shmuck that takes on this job... Goodluck!
No
In the transmission held on by 3 bolts
No it wont, only the 2.2l engine's transmission will work with the 2.2l and same goes with the other engine.
what are the warning lights in the Chevy cavalier z24. and what do they mean
150 horse
9 quarts
dextron 3
No....The engine mounts are in the wrong place.
On front wheel drive vehicles it is easier and quicker to remove the trans and engine as one unit. then you can separate them if you wish
If it is a 2.4 liter engine with dohc it does not have a dip stick... it is a sealed transmission.
Right below the EGR valve bolted to the transmission.
yes they will, they are the same from 95 to 2002 smokingallowed say's...I just wanted to add that they have a different reflecting pattern when you turn on the lights.
