switch into the OFF position to deactivate the OST function.

Replacing 3V Lithium Battery:

The Accu-set time memory is maintained by a lithium button cell battery, model CR2032. The expected

life of this battery is about 8 years, Be sure that the 2"AN' batteries in the clock are fresh. The MODE

switch (8) must be in the RUN position when replacing this button cell battery, This battery is located in

the small round battery compartment on the rear of the clock secured by a screw. Open the Battery

Compartment (3) with a screw driver and replace the CR2032 lithium battery observing the polarity,

Then close the compartment securing with the screw.

Setting the correct Data information in the LCD display:

1} Manually turn the clock hands to 12:00.

2} Be sure a fresh Lithium button cell battery is in place, model CR2032.

Replacing the "AA" batteries:

For best performance, replace the "AA" batteries annually to maintain accuracy. With the Mode switch in

the RUN position, remove the old "AA" batteries. Make sure the hands are in the 12:00 position. If not so,

Manually turn the hands to 12:00. Insert 2 fresh "AA" alkaline batteries into the Battery Compartment (1)

according to the polarity shown. The clock will automatically move to the correct time displayed in the

For outdoor temperature from manual:

Setting up the outdoor sensor-when you first set up your clock be sure to place the two AAA batteries into the outdoor sensor first before placing batteries into the clock. Also make sure that the outdoor sensor is set to channel 1(inside the battery compartment there is a switch with three different channel options>) Channel s1 should be the default setting. If you are going to be suing more than 1 sensor(up to 3) then you must make sure tha each sensor is set to a different channel.

Using the outdoor temperature feature-once you have placed the batteries in both the outddor sensors and clock, the clock will begin searching for the signal from the outddorsensor. It will seach all 3 channels automatically. If a signal is reiceived, a smybol(a upside down triangle with a line in the middle) will briefly appear above the channel indicator on the display and the outddor temperature will be shown. If a signal is not received"----" will appear ont the display. If you are not able to receive a signal from the sensors please read the section below entiled.

Outdoor sensor trobleshooting.

You should place the outddor sensor withing approx. 90 feet of the clock. Do not position the sensor in direct proximity of a wall, floor or ceiling as this may limit the range of reception. REception can also be determined by the materials in a building. Try some different areas to wee where your sensor is best suited to send a clear signal the the clock.

the hang the transmittter on a wall' choose area that is not exposed to direct sunlight or rain, it should be placed as high up from the ground or as far away from andy damp areas or metallic surfaces as possible. ........

If your are using multiple sensors- This clock can record temperatures from up to 3 outdoorsensors. If you are using more than one outdoor sensor you can view the temperature readings from all of them in the following ways:to switch from one sensor reading to the next simply press the adjust/channel button and each time you press the button the clock will swith between each channel. To have the clock automatically cycle throught each channel approx. every 4-5 seconds press and hold the Adjust/channel button for 2 seconds. To stop the automatic cycle sinmply press the adjust/channel button Note: Each sensor must be set to a different channel to operate properly. The default factory setting is channel 1 for each sensor. you must remove the battery compartment cover and change the channel selectio for each additional sensor.

Outoor sensor trobleshooting-If you set up your clock correctly and the outddor temperature reading is showing"-----"then you nne to manuall have the clock seach for the signal. Make sure that the channel setting on the clock is set to the correct number(the default channel is 1). Do this by pressing the Adjust/channel button untill the correct channel is hown on the display. If your are using multiplule sensors then you will need to repeat the below steps for eachn sensor that is not being received. Note: you can see what channel is set to by looking at e swith located in the battery compartment of the sensior. Press the search button for 2 seconds. The channel number on the display will begin to blink as the clock seeks out the signal for this sensor. If the signal is till not receive . ........

If the signal is still not recived. place the sensor as close as possible to the clock and repeat the above steps.

If none of the above works then you will need to RESET both the clock and the sensor. To rest the clock and sensor press the reset button on the back of the clock by inseting a straightened wire(paperclip for ex.) into the hole at the back of the clock and the sensor please procced to set up your clock again from the beginning of this manual
