Position the number one piston at Top Dead Center.
Be sure the camshaft mark (A) lines up with the mark on the front housing and the crankshaft sprocket notch lines up with the pointer on the oil pump housing.
Do this before removing belt. If reusing belt paint an arrow on it to indicate the
direction of rotation.
