a big block Chrysler engine with hemispherical heads.......
Why 400 heads? They are notoriously bad flowing heads without much modification the engine would be about 360 cubic inches, but the heads have nothing to do with the size of the engine.
It is between the heads, under the lower intake manifold.
The camshaft is located in the middle top of the engine block. It is below the intake manifold and between the heads.
Depending on the engine ball park $700.00 to $1500.00 or higher if the heads are warped etc. There are two heads, never replace just one gasket.
Engine heads are constructed of iron or aluminum.
