Do not use the Velcro that had glue on the backside and use a zigzag stitch around the edges
Put the needle with thred in the very middle of your piece of velcro after take the foam and punch it into the far end and peel out the tape and wela your masterpiece.

I haven't seen these. However, you might be able to glue or sew a strip of velcro to the ends and do it that way.
On some Velcro products there is a sticky side so it can stick to pants. For the non-stick type, you have to sew it on by sewing through the edges of the tape.
Velcro comes in different forms, some have sticky-back where you stick it on, or they have plain where you sew it on, it depends what your putting the Velcro on. They even have a Ty-rap style, these might be what your looking for. check in the hardware stores.

Iron on Velcro works very well. It is suited for fabrics that are hard to sew and is easy to apply. All you need is a few minutes and a steam iron set on the hottest setting.
