*Always say "please", "thank you", "excuse me", "may I", ect.
*Be polite
*Listen when they are talking
*Always answer politely and clearly when spoken to
*Do not disrupt
*Do not speak harshly or talk back
*Offer to help out when needed
*Give a thank you gift or card for holidays or at the end of the school year.

Speaking respectfully, I would not begin to answer your question without first making an offer or inviting your complicity in being in a student or listening mode. It helps to ask questions and listen to others. It's all about manners-- or the rules of the road with people.
there are no teachers if students are not willing! all humans seem to need or cherish the belief that they know right from wrong or should trust only their own judgment and that they are the most important one in the world--next to ?. For this reason, one makes a gift or invites compicity in any exhacange.
Sir Francis Drake was a great statesman only by making gifts and showing respect for the multiplicity of life styles of the many peoples of earth as he circumnavigated the world. He made a little ceremony of meeting and welcoming complcity from the port authority whether it be an Indian or the sultan of Ternate. It works to invite, feel what is is like to be the other person, and find something you admire about them and let them know that you know how important they are-- this is diplomacy.

∙ 13y agoRespect is an attitude. Being respectful can help you succeed in life. If you dont respect your peers, authority, or yourself your life will have more strife. You can be respectful of authority by following intsctructions and not ridiculing or giving them grief. You can respect peers by listening to them and trying to understand their differences, and respect them. You can respect yourself by staying healthy, dressing modestly, and making good choices. ∙ 14y agoYou show your respect for your teacher by paying attention to that teacher when he or she is teaching, and by doing whatever homework assignments he or she gives you, to the best of your ability.
To show respect to teachers you must consider how much they are helping your life.
Without teachers you would not be able to read and write and get a job.
They are good people who want to help, so pay some respect!
Listen in class, hand in homework on time, open doors for them, carry books for them etc
