There is a fuse out under the hood that you can take out. I know it is a 15amp fuse. Look at you owners manual to find it. I did mine this way over a year ago,and no problems with it

It shuts the fuel off if you have an emergency stop, crash, or something like that. Sometimes they just shut off for no real good reason. It is located in the passenger footwell area, probably on the right hand kick panel. Usually a red button but, I'm told some are black.
