pour water into it
A planter buries the roots of various plants or vegetation in soil and/or fertilizer, and then, if the planter is also the caretaker, he or she will continue to water and fertilize said plants and/or vegetation appropriately
use a hoe or a garden rake to soften it up, them you can mix water into it to help...that is...if you havent put your plants in yet ;)
They were to plough the soil and help soften the soil
Lay the tire where you want it and put a layer of potting soil, followed by a layer of top soil.
Copper is a good material for a planter as it is cheap easy to mold and may also be health for plants as it can release copper into the soil to enrich it.

If your planter is six feet long and one foot wide, it probably needs three bags. The bag will say 2 square feet of soil. Measure the length of the planter. Figure one bag for every two feet in length. If you need more, just buy another bag. If you have too many bags of soil, just return them for a refund.
Peat moss is not a soil softenering enabler. It is put on the bald spots of the lawn in order to hold the seed still so it will take root. If you desire to soften garden soil, use a garden lime product.
This is just a guess, but to my mind a black planter will impede plant growth as all sunlight is absorbed to create heat. This will evaporate water from the soil in the planter. In contrast, a white planter will reflect more light and therefore retain more water in the soil. Coloured planters would be somewhere in the middle. Test this to be sure, but it's a good experiment to think about.
Pop bottles. Put a few small rocks in the bottle and cap it. Put in the bottom of a large planter. Can put soil in over the bottles or layer a fiber cloth (even newspaper) over the bottles then put in enough soil for planting.
A larger size planter will hold more soil and therefore will dry out more slowly than a smaller planter. It can therefore be useful if you are unable to tend your plants regularly. Plants which grow quickly can soon become too big for a small planter which will stunt the root growth and may cause the plant to wither and die.
One can purchase a planter box online from Amazon, Lowes and Garden Centres. A planter box is used to place soil inside and plant seeds to grow into plants or simply put plants in straight away. Some can be window boxes inside or larger ones outside.
