I have been having a similar problem on my 2000 GP - I found that if you remove the entire light housing and drill a very small hole in the bottom middle of the headlight cover this helps the moisture evaporate. Hope this helps!
Had the same problem. Found it to be a bad ground wire for the headlights. There are two ground wires for the headlights, both are directly below the battery. You can see one of them if you remove the drivers side headlight. It is right behind the radiator hose. The other is a few inches from that one.
I had the same problem. It was my alternator. Be careful, mine died on the way home.
Turn the cone shaped knob on top of each motor. The lamps will slowly go down. This will get them down but you will then have to repair the problem.
i had the same problem what you do is take the new headlights back out and let them sit in the sun if they got moisture in them if not...then go to your local hardware store and buy a silicone sealant. try this video they show you how step by step. http://www.americanmuscle.com/mustang-headlight-sealing-video.html
i had a problem with my 99 grand am...the lights were pointing at each other towards the ground about 10 feet in front of the car...there should be several screws above or behind the headlights on either side...take it out on a road at night and have someone sit in the car while u adjust the lights with a screwdriver but be easy because the plastic piece that surrounds the headlights break easily.
if the radio is not working in a 2007 Pontiac g6 sdn what is the problem
I usually put in a Little methylated spirit in the fuel tank this helps to get it out I have found. But don't let your petrol tank get too low in the colder months you'll get condensation of moisture from the air and it will build up in the tank. I had the same problem with moisture with my Alfa Romeo GTV. The Dellorto carburettors hated any little drop of water. I fitted a Diesel Filter fitted with a glass bowl and I could drain the moisture buildup when it accrued in the bottom of the glass bowl. Never had a problem after that. Hope this helps.
If the headlights flash on and off, there may be a problem with the bulbs or fuses. There may also be a problem with the battery connections or wiring.
To monitor moisture/humidity in moisture sensitive products such as: grains, wood, concrete, etc. Moisture meters help detect where there could be a moisture problem and mold could grow from that moisture.
I had a problem with my headlights going off, not the high beams. Replaced the rectangular silver can thingy at the fuse panel under the dash on the drivers side. I put a higher rated one in, which is a no no, but it solved the problem of the headlights going out.
only if moisture is already present
I own a 2007 pontiac grand prix. Had this same issue. No recall has been done by the company; however, after many visits to the shop to resolve this very scarry issue - the switch was replaced (turn signal/light adjustment) This seemed to fix the problem.
