make your bed the minute you get up, keep all your clothes OFF the floor, books neatly stacked, you will get in the habit in no time and if you have time dust twice a week,. If you have a lot of junk laying around you will find it hard to keep it clean, so just make sure you do not have any unnecessary stuff laying about, like stuff you haven't used in donkey's years get rid of it or send it to good will..
Well this is what i did :
1 Put everything into the middle of your bedroom
2 Start with rubbish go around with your waste basket and pick up all the sweety rappers and lost homework sheets put them into the waste basket. Just use a tesco bag or asda or wherever you shop. If you need more than one bag then set the one with the rubbish in it into a big black bag. Continue on till you think it is all clear.
3 Clothes should have a selected drawer or colour of hanger for every section( shorts tees etc) If you have a closet then you should get different colours of hanger for your shorts and tops etc. drawers are simpler you just select one for your tops and bottoms and pjs.
4 toys should go into a box and then under your bed, If you have a playroom then just set all your toys in it. Stuff animals should always go into a box my goes on top of my school stuff box at the end of my bed.
5 School books are known for getting lost so i keep all my books and folder s in a box at the end of my bed sayin 'school stuff' and every day when i come home i do my homework and then pack my bag for the next day. Whatever books i dont need i put them into the box.
6 Whatever story books you have they should be on a shelf.
7 If you have a dresser then always keep things out of reach from little children(bro or sis etc) you could have a medicience that kids shoudn't take.
8 Pick up any nick nacks that dont really have a section of the room to go to and put them in a smaller box reading'nick-nacks and set on window sil.
9 Hover your carpet or floor really well. after you hoover you will have a really clean room supper tidy!
