To sound smart to a teacher In order to be perceived as intelligent by a teacher, you should have broad, deep knowledge of the topic you intend on discussing. Talk with confidence; don't answer a question like you're asking a question. Also, try to to use a broad vocabulary; don't use simply words like "nice," "bad," or hate." Use "enjoyable," "horrible," or "abhor." But when you use such vocabulary, don't go overboard. For example, "they ceased to halt" sounds like your were desperately trying to string together vocabulary.
I truly hoped this helped your current situation.

The characteristics of a good teacher are selflessness. To be a teacher, you would have to care about the students enough to want them to succeed. A good teacher would be kind, friendly, smart, and direct.

When your teacher says, " Don't get smart with me!"You can say, " Isn't that what we come to school for?" XD
It depends on the individual word. The word "teacher" has a long vowel sound in the middle, with a long 'e' sound. However, the word "teach" has a short vowel sound, with a short 'e' sound.
